We are looking for an experienced developer with a strong formal background in software engineering or computer science to join our team of software craftsmen in Greenwood Engineering.
We control and collect data from a host of sensors such as doppler-lasers, cameras, line-scanners, GPS, gyros and odometers mounted in high-tech customized trucks which generate terabyte-sized sets of measurement data while driving and measuring at traffic speed.
We develop time- and performance sensitive data acquisition software in close collaboration with our fellow craftsmen in electrical and mechanical engineering. We also develop the postprocessing, analysis, mathematical modeling, visualization and distribution of measurement results to authorities and specialists around the globe.

About the position
Working closely with the other craftsmen, You will:
- Design, develop and improve measurement postprocessing software
- Design, develop and improve data measurement control software
- Assist in ensuring automated test, automation and continuous integration
- Participate in error corrections and enhancements linked to customer support
- Collaborate with fellow Software Craftsmen in agile sprints with code-reviews, pair-programming and as supporting “buddy” to another Software Craftsman
- Participate in Agile development processes - groom, plan, demo, retro - and other team activities
Who are you?
You value your craftsmanship as a software developer. You may be familiar with the concepts in books like “Clean Code” and “The Pragmatic Programmer”. You are comfortable implementing software based on math and physics and maybe you have tried out functional programming? We mainly use .NET/C#, but we use functional paradigms and have F# on our radar.
You must have:
- A relevant degree in software engineering or documented relevant experience as a software developer
- A drive to take initiative and responsibility
- A desire to work in agile teams with engineering and innovation as core drivers
It will be great if you also have:
- 2+ years of professional experience as C# developer
- Experience with parallel and distributed computing
- Experience with functional programming
- Experience with solutions for signal processing
You speak and write fluent English. The day-to-day conversational language of the company is Danish.
