NOV is looking for Finance Accountant (part-time) to join our finance accounting team. You will have the responsibility of reconciliating the bank accounts and ensuring correct booking of miscellaneous outgoing/ingoing payments. Additionally, you will be in charge performing designated month end reconciliations.
You will be the gate keeper for onboarding on new suppliers, conducting due diligence according to internal requirements.
The accounting team is responsible for monthly reporting, keeping accurate books, statutory compliance, SOX reporting and much more. You will be working to tight deadlines and be expected to work within the appropriate financial controls in line with NOV, SOX and GAAP requirements.
We expect that you have previous experience within accounting and knowledge about debit and credit.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Closing of Accounts Receivable’s module at month end.
- Reconciliation of designated accounts at month end.
- Booking of credit card and travel expenses.
- Coding of various external invoices in our invoice handling system.
- Be first reviewer and approver on weekly payments.
- Initiate misc. payments.
- Perform supplier due diligence according to internal requirements.
Your profile: as Finance Accountant

- The ideal candidate has previous experience in accounting and is knowledgeable about debit/credit.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others, and who is able to work independently and take ownership of own tasks.
- You are fluent in English (written and oral), and preferably you also speak Danish.
