We are looking for one or more individuals who want to become an active part of an energetic and dynamic team. As an automation/PLC technician, you will have the opportunity to influence the company's operations, development, and future team setup. We are a small start-up organization, so having a "can-do" mentality is crucial. Flexibility is essential, as there will be tasks outside the immediate job description.
GMT Robotics, established in 2019 as a spin-off of GMT, is the first in the world to position itself as a trendsetter in robot-automated handling and welding solutions for the reinforcement industry worldwide. We are currently in the process of securing a substantial investor for our company. This investor will also be placing significant orders for a project in the Middle East, leading us to anticipate a tenfold increase in our turnover within the next three years.

- Training customers on how to operate the systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of PLC and some experience with PLC programming, able to make minor adjustments to robotics programs, is an advantage.
- Able to engage in discussions with software and robot engineers and suppliers about major changes.
- Mechanical assembly and electrical installation work.
- Involvement in the development of new products, from the documentation phase to software control in collaboration with internal and external engineers.
- Ability to read production drawings and understand electrical diagrams.
- Troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical areas.
- Ability to mount mechanical parts (e.g., rails, robots, robot tooling, servo motors, gears, wires, etc.).
- Understanding of hydraulic diagrams.
- Technical English skills, other languages are a plus.
- A forklift and crane license are an advantage.
- Hands-on mentality and solution oriented.
Additional Information:
- The department will initially consist of only three people, requiring high flexibility and a solution-oriented approach.
- We plan to hire at least 10 more people with similar backgrounds over the next 18 months, leading to a division between those assembling systems in Brøndby and those primarily installing systems globally.
Salary and Contract Terms:
- We offer a competitive salary ranging from €4,500 to €5,750 gross per month, depending on qualifications and experience. This package includes a pension scheme where the employer contributes 2/3 and the employee 1/3 of the total contribution, starting at a rate of 5%.
- The position is permanent for the right candidate, with an initial 3-month probationary period. During this trial period, accommodation will be arranged by the employer, with the cost to be covered by the employee, capped at a maximum of €600 per month. Post-probation, the candidate will be responsible for securing their own accommodation.
- The role is based on a 37-hour work week, with compensation provided for agreed overtime.
